DEYOUNG

DeYoung was an early adopter of the Internet as a tool for business.

In 1996 he joined the pioneering new media company, Intercast, and produced the first ever GRAMMY Awards live webcast. He worked with Apple on their first music service, the Macintosh Music Network, and with Intuit, developing the first version of Quicken Online.

In 1998 he joined Yahoo! where he spent nearly 7 years, first spearheading interactive campaigns for clients such as American Airlines, P&G, and Jack Daniels, and then focusing exclusively on the Yahoo! brand.

In 2004 he joined Ogilvy & Mather to launch their new San Francisco office, OgilvyOne SF. In 2005 he founded DeYoung Parker.

DeYoung is a believer that nothing useless can be truly beautiful.

PARKER

A pop culture junkie as well as “Silicon Valley’s finest copywriter”*, Parker is the creative force behind DeYoung Parker.

For over a decade he’s been developing cutting edge advertising campaigns, including the groundbreaking Real People campaign for Yahoo! Personals, which won him a slew of awards and remains the most effective interactive campaign at Yahoo! to date.

Parker was also responsible for breathing new life into that little guy who sits on the upper left corner of your TiVo screen. And whether he admits it or not, may or may not be responsible for the growing belief that, yes, “TiVo is Aliens!!!”

When not scheming the next viral Internet phenomenon, Tom can be found surfing the pier in Huntington Beach.
